Family Pics Re-Imagined

I want to express the value of hiring Photo Conscious to capture your family’s adventures. A great example is from back in 2016, on this camping adventure at Camp Dick, Colorado.

These fleeting moments seem to pass us by so quickly. These images are four years old and yet amazingly we can go back and relive these moments as if they were only yesterday!

Capturing family adventures is not an easy task and some moments will be missed as we might be busy packing, loading, unpacking, setting-up camp, cooking, ect.  The family member who does the photographing is most often not in any of the images, as you'll see from these images, I am not in a single one.  When my kids revisit these images as adults, they will enjoy them, but they might ask , "where were you, dad?"

Herein lies the vision of Photo Conscious, capturing  your family’s adventures, so everyone is in the photos, the important moments are captured, and everyone gets to live in the moment and not behind a screen or lens.

Imagine, you arrive at the campground and as soon as you park, the kids are out the doors and adventuring.  The camp site needs to be tagged and paid for, the equipment needs to be set up, food needs to be organized, and supplies need to be unpacked from the vehicle.   I wonder what those kids are up to?

Now imagine that while you were busy setting up and preparing the necessities your kids first moments at the camp site are being captured.  Your camp set-up is  being captured.  The location, the scenics, the flowers, the animals, all captured for you.  You get to fully take in the moments, doing what you need to do, without having to worry about taking photos.  Knowing that every aspect is being professionally photographed, even you.

Peruse Facebook or Instagram you’ll often see the traditional family portrait, where everyone is posed and told to smile, take after take, until everyone cooperates or has had enough.  I get it.  I did the same thing.  And it's not that the family portrait is a bad thing, but you can have this and so much more.  There are couples and families out there that want to show their true authentic selves and have their adventures or vacations captured professionally.  When we are on these adventures, when the lighting is right or the mood is perfect, I may pose you in that moment and it will be a family portrait like no other as it will be real and authentic, and just by looking at it one will feel the emotion.

I’d love to provide amazing photography of your family's cherished moments that you’ll want to share with the world and give you the opportunity to be fully present.  Let the world see how amazing you are, and more importantly, feel the joy that emanates from your life.
